Hi LUG?

It's a pity for me that i missed Garage48, due to "unavoidable circumstances",
yet i had an idea to develop, am sure it would have been in the top ten, but
let me build it more, next time, on a similar event, it will be revealed. More
to say, is just to congratulate the organisers and sponsors, even though i
missed, i know the magnitude of success that an event can be, if it's handled
by a strong sponsor like google, i experienced that: at the G|Uganda launch at
Sheraton on 8th September 2011, and with the addition of Nokia and other
sponsors?.... i won't say.

Am also going to miss the Fire fox Luganda Translation due to "commitments",
but i have a thing to say or ask about it: i don't know what the program for
the event is but found some information here:
http://etherpad.mozilla.com:9000/kenyaMeetup, and was wondering whether it
would be a bad idea to have included some one from maybe the Buganda Kingdom
like the prime Minister (Katikiro) or a representative, according to the nature
of the event- they are the mostly concerned people about the Language who can
welcome such technological innovations in their cultures and traditions, and
may enable the software to reach out and be used by a larger local
community/audience using Luganda.

What about previous translations like this one:
http://translate.org.za/content/view/1817/51/lang,en-za/, and a feature on the
BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7560742.stm
