Hey Guys, In the long distant past I used a tool called Visual Route which is essentially Traceroute+Map.
Now I have still not found a good equivalent in Linux which I find a bit of a surprise. The closest I have got is something I found last night. https://github.com/CIRCL/traceroute-circl It requires a ton of perl libraries but at the end you can type traceroute-circl --ip <destination> --geomap <mapfile> and it spits out a Google Maps API Javascript. Unfortunately my JS being what it is that is where I get stuck. I tried embedding it in a html file but got stuck. Anyone care to help me complete the puzzle, or even better just get it to open Google maps?
