Thx 4 all the feedback thus far (on & off-list)

Suggestions with alfresco r interesting 'coz of 2 things Share point protocol
and CIFS support.

Many organizations r brought 2 their knees by seemingly small worm/ virus
attacks propagated thru shared drives; a highly desirable feature at this
level.

To get SAMBA-like network (shared) drives on Linux host whose base OS won't be
affected by M$ targeted attacks, is a great advantage. This coupled with
document & records mgt makes life easy 4 folks who'd prefer 2 share thru a
'drive' rather than upload 2 a web interface like many DM systems do.

Ability 2 edit documents directly in your doc mgt suite of choice is also a
plus.

I've personally used alfresco b4 and will soon be testing Nuxeo (doesn't seem 2
hv the above) and will be glad 2 give feedback.

Has anyone used OpenKM, whose interface tracks Alfresco's? One of the listed
features is direct SANE(scanner) integration.

@Reinier: That point abt community features is very important. Noted.

Francis.
