Actually, in a way there are subjective factors as well. Or, not the factors as such, but whether or not they matter is highly subjective. I, for one, would never ever want an Internet connection where I sit behind NAT without at least one external IP address of my own, but most users probably couldn't care less. The same applies for blocked inbound ports and blocked ICMP packets.
