Hello Ronald I hope you haven't yet followed the DIY links provided by Benjamin. The fixes detailed are really quite temporary and will last a maximum of 3 days before your xbox will be a permanent dead weight. I suggest you visit Games4U - opposite Fido Dido (upstairs)
Alternatively, you can fix it yourself using the link below http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm The x-clamp fix is the only sure-fire way to fix your RRoD. I have used it myself successfully. Please stay away from the towel trick - very harmful to your xbox.
