:) I think most of the folks are computer programmers who are used to procedures and a structured flow of things or even corporate workers, used to policies and procedures; which means you need to provide a step by step way of doing things (for example create a google account, login the account, search for groups, join a group, etc or if the group is accessible outside google for example directly off the LUG mailing list, you provide the steps)
:)Remember weakly typed languages like C can be a disaster when using pointers, the only thing that comes to real abstraction in a properly typed language like Java is the interface, yet again you have to implement the methods (step by step procedures) defined on it if ever you are to use it.... > Ummm.... if all of you guys saying "add me" would just click on the link, > you could add yourselves and save us some kb of downloading your > one-liners. > > -- > Evolution (n): A hypothetical process whereby infinitely improbable events > occur with alarming frequency, order arises from chaos, and no one is > given > credit. > _______________________________________________ > The Uganda Linux User Group: http://linux.or.ug > > Send messages to this mailing list by addressing e-mails to: > [email protected] > Mailing list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Mailing list settings: http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug > To unsubscribe: http://kym.net/mailman/options/lug > > The Uganda LUG mailing list is generously hosted by INFOCOM: > http://www.infocom.co.ug/ > > The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including > attachments if any).
