PostgreSQL XC is a shared nothing clustering solution for PostgreSQL, based on
the 9.1 sources. This has been an area where the elephant has lagged behind the
competition for a while. Benchmarks look promising, for a first release. One
more reason to look even more disinterested when clients start going on about
Oracle RAC, when your data size is not even big enough to justify it…
