I was in Bank of Africa and a large number of people were using LibreOffice.
When I asked the IT
guys, they said staff are given a choice. I also noted it was staff who were
30 and above. It goes
to prove my theory that people taught "word processors" instead of
"Microsoft word" are more
versatile.
Now, I just need to figure out why these non-techie users chose LibreOffice
despite using windows
(probably the whole office 2007 and above fiasco)

Subject: [LUG] LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 is out

I just tried opening a document I had need to run in Office as the table was
all messed up and it worked fine. Nice improvement.
