I went to a boot-camp where one had to code BASIC on the Apple IIe
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_IIe - for 1 year before you graduated to
PCs. The PCs ran Turbo Pascal. After the 1 year, learning Pascal was a
downhill task.
