Subject: [LUG] PFSense Routing

Hi all,

I have a Pfsense Gateway for all the Local Traffic on one Network and
the Pfsense is ideally the local Gateway for all the hosts on this
network
the network for the pfsense is X.X.178.0/24

The have created an Intranet server with the on the above mentioned
Network , (X.X.178.0/24) and the gateway is X.X.178.254

However on the Same premises they have a second Network(X.X.124.0/24)
thats is independet of the above mentioned.

I have created a sub interface (subinterface X. ip address X.X.178.243
on the Second Networks Router and added an IP route to forward all
traffic to a particular IP X.X.178.243 and using the X.X.178.254 as
the Gateway (pfsense) on the 1st network to enable the traffic reach
the intended Intranet server.

However the Traffic cant seem to reach the intended server .

Could there be anyone has adavanced help ? Am sure about the Cisco
Router side am not sure about the Pfsense side of issues.

Kind Regards
Erasmus
