In that case, the user should be banned for using Yahoo!. It's the user's responsibility, not the list's, to make sure the service one is using is good and sound and does not lead to grief for other users.
Blanket ban on all Yahoo! accounts, with an explanation why and why they should switch to a real e-mail service provider. That's my opinion.
