Hello Brian, Am looking forward to those monthly meetings and the Techfest event in September.
Being a FOSS enthusiast myself (am happily writing this email from my Opensuse 12.1 laptop with KDE 4.9) and being the senior Editor of the TechPost which is scaling this year with an major redesign and more informed writers (perhaps some contributors from a community like this one), I'll be introducing a dedicated channel called the openPost solely covering opensource news, tips and hacks. The TechPost has previous written about the benefits of linux to the enterprise<http://www.techpost.ug/2011/12/bring-linux-to-your-company-ave.html>, reviewed a linux distro translated in Luganda<http://www.techpost.ug/2012/11/an-entire-operating-system-in-local.html>and reported on some FOSS even<http://www.techpost.ug/2012/10/mozilla-uganda-and-dream-of-localized.html>t(mozilla Uganda)...and you can follow it with more interactions on twitter<http://www.twitter.com/tech_post> . I hope to be an active member here and meet some of you offline.
