There are of course exceptions, I grant you that. But e.g. regular text I input 
with gestures, and that's way faster than anything else I've tried. I do switch 
to regular touch keyboard when in the SSH console, of course, or sometimes I 
even attach a USB keyboard for longer typing sessions. But those are fringe 
cases, surely.

(Also, who uses phones to place calls in this day and age? ;))
