Flash has been dead for several years. The codebase is very hard to port since 
it contains a lot of ASM optimisation hacks (go read the Adobe developer blogs, 
it's very interesting). All use cases are gradually being overtaken by HTML5. 
Flash has no future, and the reason it even has a present is because there 
still are developers who insist on developing new applications with deprecated 
end-of-life technologies.
