Briefly, my $0.02,

Redhat has paid the license fee to enable UEFI secure boot for their OS.
Not sure about Ubuntu and SUSE.

You need to research before buying your PC. A number of vendors (ASUS for
one) allow you to disable secure boot, so you can install any OS.
