If your running a LVM the process is slightly different. From a bootable CD/DVD you need to run the following commands.
You might need to first install lvm2 for them to work. "lvm pvscan" "lvm vgscan" "lvm lvchange -ay 'NameOfYourVolumeGroup' " "lvm lvscan" Then you can run fsck: "fsck -f NameOfYourVolumeGroup" On 20 April 2013 19:40, Jemba E. S.
