I've yet to come across a solution with nothing special on the client side where I haven't been able to piggy-back on another user's session, so I'll be following this subject with interest as the same question has occurred to me.
The "safest" solution I can think of would be WPA2 Enterprise with a RADIUS backend. The drawback is that the credentials would have to be distributed off-band (i.e. not over the wireless network itself, but on a piece of paper or similar), but it would be practically impossible to cheat the system if implemented correctly.
