Hi everyone, I need to find software which monitors and reports user activity on a Linux desktop (e.g. Ubuntu). I need to know what applications people are using, how long they use them for, when they use them, how often they use them, etc.
Background: I am creating a custom Linux OS which will be deployed in a remote area for use by random people. I have pre-loaded software applications and web-based content. I can easily capture web usage statistics (e.g. Squid, Piwik), but cannot seem to find any software which monitors application usage as described above.
