2. Introducing LPI webinars: What is OpenStack?

On August 20th LPI will commence the first in a series of monthly
webinars for Linux and Open Source professionals. These webinars will
provide aspiring IT professionals with information, tips and an inside
look on industry trends within the world of Linux/Free and Open Source
Software. Webinars will be hosted by Ross Brunson, LPI's Director of
Membership.

First up in LPI's ongoing series of webinars will be a presentation by
Scott Sanchez, Rackspace’s Director of Strategy for Private Cloud, and
Niki Acosta, Rackspace’s Private Cloud Evangelista. Both Scott and Niki
will be describing the technology behind "Open Stack"--the cloud
solution of choice for many enterprise customers, and show how attendees
can learn more about the technologies involved. In addition, the
participants will discuss strategies for how to add this important set
of skills to the sysadmin's portfolio.

For more information on "Open Stack" see:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qz5gyDenqTI

There will be time for Q&A after the presentation. The presentation
will be recorded and a notification of it's location sent to registrants
when it's available for replay.

Participation is by advance registration at:
