"date -u +%V`uname`" outputs the week number followed by the "name" of the
operating system, so in my case "34Linux".

"sha256" hashes it, outputting
"0f0c825decc188c8e3a719a11e2d281bc343613275e83d4ed3b923c6536dbf37  -".

The "sed 's/\W//g'" command shaves off the file name field. Alternatives
would be "awk '{print $1}'" or "cut -f1 -d' '". Final output is
"0f0c825decc188c8e3a719a11e2d281bc343613275e83d4ed3b923c6536dbf37"
