Looks like NSA and GCHQ have cracked the 128 bit keys used in https for the 
major sites.

So access to Google, Yahoo, Facebook etc. using https is quite useless

Go to this site to test your browser encryption level

https://www.fortify.net/sslcheck.html

GPG with 4096 bit key is the only way to go :-)
