Hi Kyle, have her google "Invent your own games with Python"
There's a free downloadable PDF copy of the second edition. The author meant for it to be a great intro for budding programmers from ages 9 and up. Also once she's zoned in, I would send her to www.edx.org MIT has a great free introduction to computer programming course on there as well, cheers, Benjamin Wakhweya > Date: Tue, 8 Nov 2016 22:46:14 +0300 > From: Kyle Spencer <[email protected]> > To: Uganda Linux User Group <[email protected]> > Subject: [LUG] Best way to learn Python online? > Message-ID: > <CAJ=rJSRAxKoEbAVjiv+PhXWp8OC+EPx5n_ayNiT13hgKQnaKuQ@mail. gmail.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" > > Hi all, > > I have a friend who is keen to learn Python.
