I find that article strange. The Mac OS innards have been open sourced since about 2000.The BSD people have been contributing to it since then. Of course with the Apple guys sharing what they can with them.If they open sourced the other parts like Aqua or Carbon or whatever they are called today then that would be their end. The BSD and Linux people wouldproduce maybe 100 more systems based on that. regardsJoachim
