More detailed debugging of Dovecot shows that it actually looks up the mail in the rightful directory path. However, the mail is being delivered in a different location. Despite the proper authentication, it always indicates that there is no mail. Server logs show: dovecot: pop3-login: Login: user=<[email protected]>, method=PLAIN, rip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, lip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, mpid=25498, TLS, session=<BDBllldR6ACBzQYG> dovecot: pop3([email protected]): Disconnected: Logged out top=0/0, retr=0/0, del=0/0, size=0 The Mail File is located in /Var/Mail/ Dovecot Config directive is as follows: mail_location = mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u Advice will be much appreciated.
