Hi all,

Sorry. I was off-grid/upcountry since Sunday. Diarmuid (copied) assisted
with this outage and can also be contacted for support when I am MIA.

We initially experienced a problem with our transit link which seemed to
originate upstream. This naturally took our website, DNS, and other public
facing services down (we are not multihomed bit will be soon) though
peering was unaffected. Then, a few days later, we experienced a network
layer issue that disrupted peering.

We think we have now cleared the issue, but can't properly confirm the
cause yet. Our hunch is now that both issues originate from a new peer
connection which we have disconnected until we can get a quarantine VLAN up
to take a closer look.

Regards,
Kyle Spencer
