[LUGAr-gral] phishing, una razon mas para usar Linux

Hola,

Hoy me llego un mensaje supuestamente de PayPal. Estaba muy bien
hecho, muy convincente. Decia que yo o alguien habia comprado en una
libreria de Inglaterra mercaderia por US 750. Que como parecia fraude,
que vaya a la pagina de ellos para confirmar o cancelar la
transacciÃn. El link no funcionaba (debe ser porque gmail desactiva el
JS que usaba ese link). Si bien desde el principio supuse que era un
phishing, estaba un poco cagado porque si era cierto, un gasto de 750
US me hace hoy un agujero que me parte al medio.
Asi que fui a paypal poniendo yo la direccion manualmente en el
navegador y en los ultimos 7 dias no habia movimiento. Me confirmo que
era un phishing. Asi que fui al mensaje, mire el HTML y si, un
phishing tremendo, preparado para que la gente que usa Outlook y IE
entre lo mas bien. Ya que al hacer click ahi, el codigo aprovecha una
vulnerabilidad del IE para mostrar en la barra de direcciones la
direccion de paypal cuando en realidad es otro sitio, y cuando pones
la clave de tu cuenta ahi, se la das a cualquiera, menos a Paypal.
Mientras observaba el cÃdigo HTML me preguntaba como explicarle al
usuario no tÃcnico que significa esto. No es fÃcil. Mas fÃcil es usar
Linux y olvidarse de esas cosas :)
