Traté de hacer esto estando desde mandriva y entrando con chroot a la partición de ubuntu. Luego de cambiar le menu.lst tal como vos decís, ejecuto grub-install para que saque el lilo y quede grub en su lugar, pero sale lo siguiente: #grub-install /dev/hda2 Due to a bug in xfs_freeze, the following command might produce a segmentation fault when /boot/grub is not in an XFS filesystem. (hd0) /dev/hda Probé levantando el sistema ubuntu con el CD de instalación.
