Hola a todos: Hace 4 dias migré a un amigo de W2K a Ubuntu 7.10 con todas las actualizaciones... todo anduvo de maravillas, pude configurarle el modem AMIGO USB sencillamente, y su teclado y mouse Genius inalámbricos sin tener que meter manos en la cosola porque los reconoció solitos (cosa que W2K no hacía)...
Resultado: Amigo maravillado con el SL. Hoy me llama y me dice que: "Che.. no me anda internet"... me voy a la casa y empiezo a investigar.. y efectivamente no tenía internet, pero el problema pareciera ser a causa del controlador del USB. El tiene 2 puertos USB. En uno tiene conectado el modem AMIGO USB que dá arrnet, y en el otro puerto tiene un hub usb donde conecta la base del mouse y teclado inalámbrico y a veces un pen drive en kern.log veo que se reconocía (el 24/03) sin problemas el hub el teclado y el mouse ************************************ Mar 24 11:25:47 galpondeideas kernel: [ 7.696000] input: KYE Systems Corp. read/64, error -110" puede darse por errores en la comunicación a través del cable de los USB http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg18560.html Revisé los cables USB y no parecen tener daños.... de hecho la tarde anterior (y todos los dias antes) todo andaba sin problemas....hasta que de repende zas!.. dejo de funcar...
