There was a misunderstanding about the schedule. My plan was to leave
Italy on Oct 12, *by train*, which means I would arrive in Ljubljana
at 0245 on Oct 13, coming from Venice.
That was the plan until yesterday. Now there has been a change in
plans--I am leaving Italy on Oct 13 rather than Oct 12. So I should
get to Ljubljana at 0245 on Oct 14.
This means that the proposed schedule needs some change--I can't do
anything in Ljubljana on Oct 13.
Instead of the train, I could take a plane from Turin or Aosta or some
other place not too far away, on Oct 13, if someone can pay for it.
That way I could arrive during the day on Oct 13.
Meanwhile, I am planning to leave Lubljana for Milan by train at 1610
on Oct 19. It will actually be somewhat of a difficulty for me,
because I will probably drain 3 of my batteries on that trip, and I
won't be able to recharge them all before I have to leave for Paris
again by train. Therefore I will run out of battery power on the
train to Paris.
If I could fly to Milan in the evening on Oct 19, that would avoid
this problem.
If you can find money for just one flight, I would prefer to make it
the 19th because that would avoid running out of battery power.
However, we would very much prefer if you choose us (i. e. LUGOS),
to be the formal sponsors of your speech since we'll be the ones to
actually hold all organization together.
Would you like to start calling the system "GNU/Linux", calling its
users "GNU/Linux users", and calling yourself a "GNU/Linux User
Group"? If you treat the GNU Project right, I would be glad to have
you sponsor the speech.
