If a later flight will get me to Ljubljana in time for the speech, I
would prefer that. I do not need 2 hours, or even 1 hour, of
preparation time before my speech.
But if there is no other good alternative, this is ok.

I hope that this would be OK? It's closest to 10am that I could get.
That is a little on the early side, but I can do it.
However, if a later flight can do the job, I would definitely prefer
a later flight.
It takes more than two hours by car. So we expect to arrive in Ljubljana
at 13:00, which will give you additional two hours to accomodate at
Ales's place and freshen up before the speech at 15:00.
I don't need to do anything before the speech--I can arrive and
immediately start speaking. I would much rather have the extra time
in the morning rather than in the afternoon.
