Odprla se je nova veja KDE, ki naj bi vodila
v KDE 2.2.1, namenjena pa je predvsem prevodom
in dokumentaciji.
Tako lahko se izboljsamo prevode in dopolnimo
dokumentacijo.
In se novica st. 2:
KDE 2.1 je tik pred vrati, sinoci pa sem tako
ze zgradil paket kde-i18n-sl-doc.
Zaenkrat je na voljo le v
ftp://ftp.lugos.si/pub/lugos/doc/KDE-sl/depo/
K paketu sodijo tri datoteke:
navodila.txt
kde-i18n-sl-doc.tar.bz2
en-common.tar.gz
Celoten paket kde-i18n-sl pa bo del
uradne izdaje KDE cez nekaj dni.
Lep pozdrav,
Andrej

Hello,
In case you missed it: KDE CVS now has a KDE_2_1_BRANCH.
KDE_2_1_BRANCH
===============
The KDE_2_1_BRANCH will be used for KDE 2.1.1 to be released in about a
month.
This branch is open for bug-fixes only and you better be damned sure
that your
bugfix is properly tested and doesn't change any translatable strings.
(This branch will further be used by the doc & translation teams)
You can check this branch out with 'cvs update -r KDE_2_1_BRANCH'. Any
cvs
commits after this will commit your changes to the KDE_2_1_BRANCH!!!
Please
make very sure that your commits are going to the right branch! You can
use
'cvs status <file[s]>' to check if your file is currently part of a
branch.
If you have a bugfix that you think should be part of KDE 2.1.1 but do
not
want to go through the hassle of checking out this branch yourself you
can
send me the patch and I will apply it.
HEAD BRANCH
============
The "normal" part of CVS, aka HEAD, will be used for KDE 2.2. This part
of
CVS is open for new features. Please be aware that libraries need to
remain
binary compatible with both KDE 2.0 and KDE 2.1.
The recommended way to get the HEAD branch is to use 'cvs update -A'.
(If you
use 'cvs update -r HEAD' you will not be able to commit anything
afterwards)
Now is also a good time to move your application from kdenonbeta to
another
kde package if you want your application to be part of KDE 2.2. If
desired
you can ask David Faure or Stephan Kulow to move your application on the
CVS
server itself in order to preserve the cvs log.
Cheers,
Waldo
