I'm glad to see some progress being made on this! A few comments: Please don't install anything with a .sh or .pl extension in the system path. Also, if utilities are packaged in an RPM, it is appropriate to put them in /usr/bin or /usr/sbin. /usr/local/* is for locally-installed software - in other words, things outside the control of RPM. Is obparse.pl intended to be called by end-users? If so, it needs better documentation. If not, please remove it from the system path. /usr/lib/lustre-iokit is a good place. Also, I'm happy to inspect this.
