The issue is that Module.symvers does not contain symbols for the external ldiskfs module, so they are not read when performing 'modpost' on fsfilt_ldiskfs. As a workaround, I will add a rule to run modpost explicitly when building fsfilt_ldiskfs. This is required on RHEL 4, SLES 9, and RHEL 5.
