Someone asked me recently if we had any concrete data about where NFS
falls apart with respect number of clients, bandwidth, etc.
Unfortunately, I don't have any answers nor any NFS benchmarking data
at my fingertips to even make an educated guess.
Can anyone offer either empirical or concrete data that shows the
tipping point for NFS? How about compared to Lustre? I really wish I
had this kind of benchmarking data from our own lab, but there are
only so many hours in the day ;)
Any feedback would be great appreciated.
