Am I the only one that's getting curious as to why there hasn't been a
new 1.6 beta release?
I've seen enough build oddities and so on passing by the mail lists
that to feel that a there should have been a couple more betas
released by now...
It would also be interesting to know for which kernels there are going
to be patches. We (HPC2N) are interested in support for Ubuntu Dapper
LTS which uses kernel.org 2.6.15 plus various fixes, so a working
patch set for kernel.org 2.6.15 would be nice (the one in 1.6beta5
doesn't work too well as been seen on the mail lists).
In any case, it would be nice to see some progress since we'd really
like to deploy 1.6 instead of 1.4, but given the current rate of betas
it seems like we'll have to wait a few years or deploy 1.4 :/
