thanks, I see all these bugs have been fixed in lustre-1.4.11 so I'm presently testing this version now, was on my todo list anyway. Going to apply these patches to 1.6.0.1 as well. After running fsstress a bit longer (with 1.6.0.1) there also happend an ASSERTION() on the OSTs, lets see if this already has been fixed with these bugzilla patches.
