Hi Guys! I have Lustre 1.4.11 cluster with one MDS, but I need to add some redundant information to existing cluster. I decided to add the second mds node to cluster. I read that in this case two mds nodes will work by schema active/passive and I have to use heartbeat for accomplishing it. I downloaded/compile heard-beating.STABLE-2.1.0. At now I have some tuning questions.
