I tried to build lustre 1.6.1 patchless on Centos5 (RHEL5) with the
2.6.18-8.1.8.el5 kernel. It fails to build with

I configured with ./configure
--with-linux=/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-8.1.8.el5-x86_64
