Hello,

I try to run mgs and mdt on one server. This works fine with one network card
configured as 192.168.0.1. If I set up the second network card (with yast) with
an IP for outgoing traffic (ssh/apache/ftp/etc.) it still works mounting the
mdt (allways with the following 4 commands).

But after a reboot of the server, the mounting fails:

mkfs.lustre --mgs --reformat /dev/sda3
mkfs.lustre --fsname=ffs --mdt --reformat [EMAIL PROTECTED] /dev/sda4
mount -t lustre /dev/sda3 /mnt/mgs
mount -t lustre /dev/sda4 /mnt/mdt

mount.lustre: mount /dev/sda4 at /mnt/mdt failed: Input/output error
Is the MGS running?

If I then deaktivate the network card with the outgoing IP (with yast) it still
does not work. I have to reboot the server then to make the mounting of mdt
working again.

Any ideas?

Friendly greetingMichael Park
