I am trying to install lustre on a CentOS 5 fresh off the DVD install. (No updates)
I am also using Lustre 1.6.4.1. I can't seem to get the OSS or a client to talk to an MGC on a different machine. The networking looks correct, and I can ping between the boxes, but I cannot do a lctl ping to the remote machine. It comes back with an I/O error. Does the bare bones CentOS need to be updated for lustre to function correctly? Thanks! -- Andrew
