Hi
I build successfully lustre and configured patchless client on kernel
(2.6.20.15) and of lustre(1.6.4.2).
I configured using ./configure --with-linux=/unpatched/kernel/source

and then I build using make and installed the modules using make install.

Now in order to run the llmount.sh script,we require lmc, lconf utilities but
these are not there in lustre 1.6 so how to proceed with starting a file
system.(using MGS)

Regards,
Ashok Bharat

Andreas, are you saying adaptive timeouts are likely to be deferred to 1.8?

Jim

This smacks of a Ubuntu kernel. Ubuntu Gutsy to be precise. If so, you
will be out of luck. Ubuntu have added AppArmor to their kernel and
that addition has resulted in a number of VFS API changes which we do
not handle.

Yeah, that looks like a Ubuntu kernel.

Just for the record on this thread, configure should detect an unpatched
kernel source and assume "--disable-server" automagically.
