One of our OSTs reported that error and as result was remounted read-only. This happened already twice within last 7 days but on different OSTs.
Mar 3 07:10:48 oss13 kernel: LDISKFS-fs error (device dm-2): ldiskfs_valid_block_bitmap: Invalid block bitmap - block_group = 20677, block = 677543938 It looks like filesystem has been corrupted but there is nothing in the logs suggesting a hardware problem with the backend storage (DDN). There is also a bugzilla ticket https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23959 but has not been much progress there and I don't know if anyone actually works on that tickets in bugzilla at the moment. BTW my OSS runs CentOS5.5 and Lustre-1.8.4 I would be grateful for some suggestions. Wojciech
