There is a new project to implement file-level replication for Lustre: https://jira.hpdd.intel.com/browse/LU-3254 http://wiki.opensfs.org/images/3/38/ReplicationDesign_HighLevelDesign.pdf It is currently in the design stage, and there isn't yet a target date for implementing this feature. However, I think it is one of the critical features for Lustre in the future.
