Thanks Ben about the hint with changelogs. I read about this, but think we never used this feature. Also:
[root@fugg1 ~]# lfs changelog lustre-MDT0000 [root@fugg1 ~]# [root@lustre2 ~]# cat /proc/fs/lustre/mdd/lustre-MDT0000/changelog_users current index: 0 ID index [root@lustre2 ~]# I send a mail to all our users asked if one of them maybe has written too many files.
