Things to check: - is the ib0 device there (i.e. make sure the infiniband layer works correctly)? - does the ib0 haven an ip address? (lustre normally doesn't use ip over ib but it uses the ip-addresses for identifying the hosts) - verify that you can ping the ip (with normal network ping to ensure that the connection is working) - Is the lnet module loaded? - if not can you load it manually with modprobe lnet? - what is written to dmesg / syslog when it fails? - when the module is loaded, try lctl network up Martin _______________________________________________ lustre-discuss mailing list lustre-discuss@lists.lustre.org http://lists.lustre.org/listinfo.cgi/lustre-discuss-lustre.org
