Thanks Richard! We download lustre via git clone git://git.hpdd.intel.com/fs/lustre-release.git. We plan to try other versions if the pre-built client you suggested does not work.
The linux kernel is 4.14.0-49.el7a. We compile for a prototype system based on ThunderX2 ARM Processor. Does anyone have any suggestions about the error? Not directly - but chatting with James Simmons at LUG this year gave me confidence that the client from Lustre Master compiled just fine. It might be helpful to share which version of the client you're compiling and on which platform and kernel. As an alternative, OpenHPC provide an AArch64 pre-built Lustre client (v2.8) for CentOS7: http://build.openhpc.community/OpenHPC:/1.3/CentOS_7/aarch64/ best regards, Richard -- [email protected] Server Software Eco-System IMPORTANT NOTICE: The contents of this email and any attachments are confidential and may also be privileged.
