It works for me - I just tested it, from the University network in Berlin.

Having said that, I have noticed instabilities with cloning the git repo in the past few weeks where I looked at it (EOF error), and have at times needed multiple attempts. My suspicion is further that time of day has something do with it (and as a result server load).

For the last week or so, I've been unable to update my local git repository.

Example: "git clone git://git.whamcloud.com/fs/lustre-release.git <http://git.whamcloud.com/fs/lustre-release.git>" errors out with:
fatal: unable to connect to git.whamcloud.com <http://git.whamcloud.com>:
git.whamcloud.com <http://git.whamcloud.com>[0: 138.197.209.17]: errno=Connection timed out

Did something change recently? I can still browse the web interface (https://git.whamcloud.com/?p=fs/lustre-release.git;a=summary).

Thanks,
Nate
