Hi! I thought I'd give an early warning this time.
We have HPE lustre client B19 + this patch https://review.whamcloud.com/c/fs/lustre-release/+/57007 on RHEL9.5 We just found out that copying doesn't work with cp. Possibly due to it using: copy_file_range to do the copying. If the file is read into local cache, the copy succeeds.
