Dear all, Yesterday I heard on radio, while driving, two versions (one by a man, could be D. Fischer-Dieskau, the other by a woman with a dark voice, could be C. Ferrier) of a beautiful Schubert (?) Lied dedicated to the music. It begins with the words "... Du, holde Kunst...", and continues telling about the virtues of it. I was unable to register neither the title of the Lied, nor the name of each performer, simply because I only could listen to the music... Belongs this Lied effectively to Schubert? Does anybody of you know about the different versions of this Lied? And, last but not least, is there a version of it for baroque lute?
Thank you! Manolo Laguillo (Barcelona) --
