More performance dates coming up. November 28 & 30 I'll be playing 10c
renaissance lute at a Christmas Crafts Faire at:
Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Hall
1351 Maple Ave.
Santa Rosa, Ca.
Santa Rosa Vets is across from the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. I will be
playing my own intabulations of music from the "Oxford Book of Carols" and the "Musica
Britannica Book of Medieval Carols", as well as some of the standard Christmas music,
and some John Dowland and Francis Cutting et. al. I will be joined by Sadie Luke,
voice, on some of the selections. We will be playing from 12-4 P.M. Admission to the
Faire is $1.00.
On Dec. 5 at 8:00P.M. we will be performing in concert at Newman Auditorium,
Emeritus Hall, Santa Rosa Junior College, 1501 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, Ca. This
performance will include Sadie Luke, voice; Gary Digman 10c lute and viola da gamba;
Sarge Gerbode, 8c lute and archlute; Felicia McFall, baroque violin; and Vera
Yardumian, harpsichord. We are known as the "Skyflower Consort". We will be playing
music by Josquin, Hume, Purcell, Terzi, Passareau, Marais, de Machy, Wm. Croft,
Elizabeth Jacquet, Matthew Locke, and John Dowland. Tickets are $10/$5.
On Dec. 6 & 7 I will be playing 10c renaissance lute, 13c baroque lute and
baroque guitar from 10A.M.- 4P.M. for an open house (public invited) at:
Cottage Gardens Nurseries
